Authentic stay in the Vosges

In a little, quiet village in the Vosges, we got warmly welcomed by Fabrice, the owner of the charming Bed & Breakfast. We were able to park our car securely on the gated property. We enjoyed staying in this old property, which is well maintained. The property has a big typical French garden. Food was excellent and served at the big table with the host and other guests, which was a pretty good experience.

Diese Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes! Es ist ein uraltes Anwesen, liebevoll und passend eingerichtet, unglaublich sauber, bequemen Betten und wir haben einen aufmerksamen Gastgeber erleben dürfen. Der Speisesaal ist in einer Art Gewölbekeller mit Blick in den Garten. Hier ist ein großer, festlich eingedeckter Tisch an dem ein gutes Frühstück serviert wird. Der Hausherr steht morgens früh auf, um selber frisches Brot zu backen. Er reicht selbst gemachtes Müsli, selbst gemachten Joghurt, selbst gemachte Marmeladen, Honig, eine Schinkenspezialität sowie verschiedene hervorragende Käse. Kaffee und Tee werden frisch aufgegebrüht, frische Eier individuell gekocht. Wir hatten das Glück, gemeinsam mit anderen Gästen zu speisen, was schon faszinierend war denn am gemeinsamen Tisch entstanden interessante Gespräche. Auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen sollte man sich das gemeinsame Abendessen. Auch hier backt der Hausherr frisches Brot und bereitet verschiedene Gänge zu. Dazu gibt es Quellwasser, passenden Wein und auf Wunsch auch hausgemachten Saft. Der Gastgeber, Fabrice, ist sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Mich persönlich hat neben seiner Freundlichkeit auch die Würde und der Stolz, die er ausstrahlt, sehr beeindruckt. Ich kann nur sagen: zurecht! Dieses Haus macht er auch durch seine Art zu etwas einzigartigem!

Magnifique demeure qui nous emmène dans un autre temps, un accueil chaleureux et bienveillant. La chambre St Hubert est une merveille qui nous permet un sommeil de qualité. Sehr freundlich mit einem Getränk nach Wahl empfangen. Ein erstes gegenseitiges kennenlernen Gespräch in romantischen rustikalen Umfeld. Wer hier das übliche 4-5 Sterne bling bing erwartet ist vollkommen fehl am Platz. Hier ist alles alt, krumm und schief aber romantisch und voller Charme im alten französischen Stil, zum Teil antik. Das Grundstück ist liebevoll angelegt und mit eigenemAnbau von Obst und Gemüse für den täglich Bedarf. Wer hier den Luxus von Ruhe und Erholung sucht mit herzlicher Gastlichkeit, ist genau richtig.

Excellent accueil. J'ai été accueilli par un hôte extraordinairement sympathique, désireux de toujours veiller à votre confort et votre bien être. Le maximum est fait pour que vous passiez un très bon séjour. La cuisine est traditionnelle et excellente. Les repas sont préparés par une cuisinière, les petits déjeuners sont très copieux. J'ai été accueilli le premier soir par un gratin de chou-fleur et brocolis servi dans des couverts en argent et un service en cristal. Je ne regrette absolument rien. Merci à Fabrice.

Ich wurde ausgesprochen freundlich deutschsprachig, was für mich super war, empfangen. Ich konnte mich auch in den Garten setzen und das Wetter und die gemütliche Atmosphäre genießen. Der Besitzer sagte noch zu mir: "Mein Haus ist Ihr Haus". Und genauso wohl habe ich mich auch gefühlt und hervorragend geschlafen. Das Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Brot,Käse und Honig sowie selbstgemachter Marmelade war hervorragend. Für mich war es traumhaft.
