Enjoyable Stay at a Cozy B & B

We enjoyed our stay at the Bittersweet B & B. The property is kept beautifully and is very clean. Outside grounds are landscaped with beautifully kept flowers and bushes. The front porch is welcoming with rocking chairs and other furniture for relaxing outdoors. The owners made us feel welcomed and were very friendly. We enjoyed the home cooked breakfast with plentiful juice and coffee. The B & B is located close to Short Sands and it’s an easy, short ride to Ogunquit.

The owners of this sweet BnB are helpful, kind, and attentive. Bittersweet offers a lovely homemade breakfast and easy walk into town and the beach. Find yourself a comfy seat indoors, out on the lawn, or in a rocking chair on the porch. Welcome to the good life in coastal Maine.

Bittersweet Bed and Breakfast was absolutely perfect!! The grounds and building was meticulously maintained with care. The room was adorable and our chats with Victor (the owner) were great!! It is about a 2 minute drive to York Beach, a short walk to Neddick beach and about 10 minutes from Ogunquit. We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this sweet B&B!!

Very relaxing

Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were friendly, gracious and interesting to chat with. Breakfast was the same each day. A bit of variety and/or creativity could improve that. The photos in the listing were a bit misleading regarding proximity to the beach. There was no ocean or bay view and a beach day would require a car. Overall our stay was relaxing and pleasant.

My husband found this gem of a B&B. We stayed for two nights. Ray & Victor are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and nice to chat with. Our room was beautiful, spotless, bed was comfortable. Close walking distance to the beach and little shops. Close drive to Ogunquit. Highly recommend, we will definitely go back. This is a 10 Peggy

A wonderful stay at the Bittersweet B&B

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Bittersweet Bed & Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Check-in was easy and our room was excellent! We enjoyed our breakfast outside on the covered porch, so relaxing! Our hosts were gracious, professional and welcoming, offering good suggestions for dinner in nearby restaurants and friendly conversation. The location of the B&B was excellent, just south of Ogunquit and just north of York. The outlet shopping at Kittery was a short drive away. We highly recommend a stay here, without question!

This was the first time we stayed at a bed and breakfast and it was very nice! Victor and Ray were very welcoming, breakfast was delicious and the blueberry muffins were to die for! I would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a nice cozy place to stay with your partner.

This is the second time we stayed with Victor and Ray. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. Actually slept with the window open and smelled the ocean breeze. Lovely stay close to the beach

We came for the weekend to visit the area, and had such a lovely stay. We have stayed in several bed and breakfast before, and this was one of the most clean locations we have stayed at. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location of the property itself was very convenient to visiting the local area. We were able to walk to short sands beach in about 10 minutes, and also walked to dinner at the local lobster pound as well. Our hosts were also very friendly and offered good suggestions of sites to visit in the local area. We would definitely stay here again!
