Plenty of outdoor seating/picnic area. I stayed here while visiting Big Bend NP. Was 132 miles away but this is one of the few hotels in the area. Liquor store onsite. The woman who checked me in after the 9pm cutoff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Added bonus I thought she was very beautiful also so I might be slightly biased in my rating here. Lol. No I seriously I appreciated her alerting me to the limited food options in the town of Sanderson but in all seriousness she was very up to all the towns happenings and the fight to prevent the border wall from destroying the national park.
