It might look like a run-of-the-mill, roadside motel, but it is SO MUCH MORE! The front lobby is so warm and inviting, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was a amazing. I purposely got the king bed with jacuzzi tub and it was wonderful. The pillows were amazing. My husband has such a hard time falling & staying asleep, but he actually got some solid sleep in and was VERY comfortable. The jacuzzi was so nice, even in May (the cold snap hit this weekend so it was very appreciated). The whole room was comfortable as all get out, and my husband and I agree that this was the best trip to the area we have ever had.

This hotel has seen better days. Old, worn carpet in our room. Bathtub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned before our stay. Holes in bathroom door. Toilet paper holder was mounted so high you almost had to fully stand up to reach it. One of the beds had a bloodstain on it. Hallway door wasn’t properly sealed and allowed a lot of light into the room. Best part was the breakfast. Next time in Bangor I’ll spend a little more money on my room.

Tiny room with two doors, one inside the hotel, one to the parking lot like a motel. Real key! Sketch tiles on the ceiling, had to check if it was a bug or stain up there. It was a stain! Not sure which is better. Breakfast was amazing with great staff, and nice that you didn't have to walk outside. 1950 green bathroom tiles can be sold on ebay, especially the paper holder and soap dish.
