Good hotel to stay just outside Torres del Paine park on east side. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Breakfast is ok. Make sure to check with reception how to get in if coming late in night, as there's no staff after 11 PM till 6 AM. Overall a good stay in nature

Having read previous reviews we were rather worried about we would greet us on arrival however:
- we had a nice room on the 1st floor. Water pressure wasn’t great but if you started the shower 5 minutes before you needed it the. The water was nice and hot.
- staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to please.
- we ate at the hotel (US$45 each) as there weren’t any other options in Cerro Castillo. The 3 course evening meal (we had a choice of 2 dishes) was very nice.
- Breakfast (coffee, cheese and ham) was good. There were other options (cakes, cereal and yoghurt) that we didn’t try.
- There was no Wifi in our room.
Overall if you need a stop over in Cerro Castillo then don’t be put off by all the reviews.
That said the cost at US$250 per night is expensive and certainly not value for money.

Good place to stay but better options.
overall nice place and great service in the restaurant. Unfortunately the room was freezing cold (heating only turned on in the evening + morning) and price of dinner overpriced compared to price levels in Castillo/ in the area. There are better options to stay for value for money closer to the city center.

A pricier option as accommodation. Very poor service for WiFi. Dining options very limited. Adequate breakfast. Nice quiet country setting.

The rooms was OK, but there was not an option for do not disturb/no housekeeping. My stuff got moved around and because there was no safe, things like my passport and credit cards were touched. The staff were friendly, but meals, except breakfast, are not included. The dinner I ate was $45. It was alright. The windows do not have bug screens or anything of that nature, so when the housekeepers opened up the windows when they cleaned, flies and other insects got everywhere in the room. The flies were all over. Both alive and dead. Not worth the price.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, and that is all that is keeping this from a one star review. I would advise looking to other accomodation.

One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
• The hotel is extremely hard to find, Google Maps doesn’t work properly, and when we called reception for help, they hung up on us three times.
• The toilet flush was broken, leaving us with a clogged toilet by morning.
• The USD 40 packed lunch was a joke: a dry, tasteless, uncooked sandwich and a protein bar.
• Prices are charged as if the hotel is inside the park with great views—the room view was nothing like that.
• The water heater was old and took 10+ minutes to heat every time.
• The bathroom heater is dangerously placed near the WC and could cause burns.
• No charging ports in the room—the only outlet was in the bathroom.
Overpriced, poorly maintained, unsafe, and shockingly unprofessional. Avoid this place.

Pass on this one
Disappointed that the room did not have hot water and they only switch on the tank after you call them. And then it took anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to get luke warm water and had to let the shower run for 4 to 7 minutes before the water became warmer.
Some mosquitoes around and lunch and dinner were way overpriced - which I found out later when the bill came.
Room was nice, but bathroom was small.
Bright spot was Jose and staff did a very good job with the food service.
Located in a residential area, so no activities around.
Decent but would not stay there again.

It’s an odd place. The house is lovely. Huge and beautiful living room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our own room was big, and the bathroom, while small, was new and clean. One of the comments here said that the hot water didn’t work, which we did not experience. But it did take a couple of minutes for the hot water to come in, so just be patient. The dinner prices are a bit high, but you can order a la carte, and the dining room is beautiful. We bought our own bottle of wine at El Ovejero in town, and that seemed to be no problem at all. The food quality was pretty good, not great. Breakfast was skimpy, but if you ask, they will cut up some fresh fruit for you. And if you don’t like this sort of arrangement, try the brand new hotel in town, which also looks nice.

The owner is very friendly. But the facilities in the room are very simple and lack necessary furniture. The room only has a very small bedside table, a soft chair and a long stool. Water sprayed out from the faucet joint in the bathroom. Even calling the owner could not solve the problem. I had no choice but to wrap a strong napkin issued on the plane around the faucet connection to direct the fine water sprayed out into the bath basin to prevent the water from flowing to the shower room floor. In addition, the heating in the room is only supplied regularly in the evening and morning. When I get up in the middle of the night, the room feels cold.

The place was perfect for what we needed. A quiet place to sleep for a night and close enough to Torres del Paine NP, we could return early in the morning. The room felt cold, but the warm comfy bed and blankets kept us warm at night. We slept well! The breakfast was more than enough and the staff was nice.

Clean room, Tania was lovely and great service, the property was so relaxing and nice to be surrounded by nature. The dogs on the property were also a lovely surprise. The location is what you pay for to be closer to the national park saving you some time.

I was really disappointed to see our bill of almost 400 dollars for 2 dinner for 3 people.
The hotel charged us in dollars and the prices. 55 dollars per person .
5 dollars for a bottle of water..
The service was amazing but definitely not a fair price and mostly because ww didn’t get a print menu

There was no hot water and the property was not heated and cold and that for an extremely high price. Bad and way to expensive!
