We were locked out one night, so we had to get another hotel with no luggage! The Landlord for the property is almost NEVER THERE and we were lucky to get into the building when someone else opened the outside door, and our password for the room itself worked. We carefully got all of our property out of the building so we could change our hotel for the rest of our first stay there. We had another booking (made at the same time as the first) that was scheduled for 8 days from now. We cancelled our second booking ... and I expected there would be a penalty for that cancellation: IT WAS THE ENTIRE PAYMENT MADE several months ago, so there was NO MONEY REFUNDED!!! We think this is ridiculous, but there is nothing we can do. Obviously we will NEVER use this hotel again, even though we will be back next week.
