Tudo perfeito. Muito melhor do que eu havia planejado. Fizemos apenas dois dias de passeio e curtimos os demais 100% no resort, visto que é muito bem organizado, limpo, com todos os funcionários, sem exceção, muito gentis e solícitos. Transformaram as férias da minha família em férias inesquecíveis. Existem diversas opções de entretenimento durante todo o dia e a noite, para crianças e adultos. Fim do dia estávamos super cansados e dormimos cedo quase todos os dias, depois de toda a diversão durante o dia. Os Snacks são deliciosos, também. Escreveria mil nomes aqui se fosse possível, mas deixo meu agradecimento em especial para José Jimenez o concierge mais gentil e solícito que conheci e que nos ajudou com todas as reservas para restaurantes e todas as dúvidas ou ajudas que precisávamos, Wilton, Gerson, Arline, Dauris e Emanecio são muito simpáticos, gentis e fazem os melhores drinks do El Beso, Evelin do lobby e Esmeralda, que manteve nosso quarto sempre impecável. As toalhas eram trocadas durante a organização do quarto de manhã e, à noite, quando voltávamos do jantar, todas haviam sido trocadas novamente - isso faz toda a diferença!! Em resumo: voltaria mais um milhão de vezes! Saí completamente feliz e apaixonada por Punta Cana. Parabéns e obrigada, Ocean El Faro!!!

O hotel é perfeito, tudo funciona direitinho. Os funcionários são muito educados e prestativos. O quarto que eu fiquei hospedado (suíte júnior com rooftop) era simplesmente fantástico, enorme, banheiro gigante, camas confortáveis, e ainda tinha uma sala de estar, uma varanda e no andar superior uma jacuzzi! O hotel tem ótimas piscinas, o rio lento que é muito divertido e a praia em frente é linda. A estrutura do hotel é fenomenal, com diversas opções de bares nas piscinas e na praia, e opções para todos os gostos de restaurante, pista de boliche, área de jogos para adolescentes e um teatro onde todos os dias tem apresentações musicais e de dança. Enfim, tudo que esse resort oferece é de extrema qualidade. Nós adoramos a estadia e com certeza recomendamos esse hotel para quem visita Punta Cana.

Honest review from a married couple who stayed on the El Beso side from 1/18-1/25 Service staff were very kind and helpful. We were especially grateful for Andrea, our housekeeping lady. Many reviews prior to our trip spoke poorly of the food, however, we really enjoyed the restaurants we tried.The app was very easy to use, WiFi was excellent, and making reservations was very easy. We enjoy getting a little dressed up for dinner even though it is not our norm. So, the dress codes were no problem for us, but we saw many that dressed more down than we did and they had no problem being allowed to dine. For breakfasts and lunches we enjoyed the large buffet on the main strip, Pez Dama (the El Beso buffet), and Ocean Burger on the El Faro side by the pools/lazy river. The buffets had lots of options and were fairly consistent from day to day. Other resorts we have tried often included specialty days. This one did not but what was offered was a good variety and good tasting. There are bars everywhere. Restrooms are also accessible almost everywhere. We had no trouble getting loungers by the pool or beach each day, but if you want one of the padded canopy loungers, go out early to claim one (like 6am or earlier). We would recommend this resort to others and would stay here again.

*WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE DISABILITIES* *FOOD ALLERGIES* and disabled guests would probably be better off at another resort. Almost none of the buffet food is labeled. When it is labeled it’s often incorrect. There is no one in the dining area willing to provide provide ingredients, there are no alternatives provided for vegetarian, gluten free, etc. There are not enough serving spoons (think 2 pairs of tongs for a whole spread of cold cuts and cheeses), so even if you find safe dishes, they are almost certainly cross contaminated. I have several autoimmune diseases, and I had a particularly bad night during my stay where I wasn’t able to go down for dinner. My friends attempted to bring back something for me to eat, explaining that I was sick in the room, and were told that was not allowed . No dinner for me. When it comes to food, this resort is really only for people with no allergies or health concerns, and able bodied enough to get to the restaurants, which can be a long walk from the room, depending on which building you’re in. On another note, for general travelers, ALL the bars besides the one on the far end of the resort in the lobby close at 6PM!!! Lol. There is “room service” which offers 5 options, all containing gluten. Room service will NOT bring you a mixed drink, only beer and wine (I can’t have either due to allergies), alternatives/flexibility will not be offered. Lived on pineapple D: I’m an RN and this was scary. Incredibly dangerous food safety practices.

This resort was great! We saw some very conflicting opinions before we went so we weren’t sure what to think. Resort is BEAUTIFUL. It is so photo worthy and stunning. There was never a boring moment here either. They have activities and entertainment all day long. The beach party and fire show was our favorite part. There is also no shortage of food. Buffet had a lot of options and there were many other restaurants to choose from. Our only complaint was that food was not super delicious. But it was all good and we stayed full anyways. The beach itself wasn’t too awesome due to strong waves and rocks. HOWEVER… the lagoon was amazing. Best part of the resort. Water was relatively calm and clear (and warm). We brought goggles and saw a sea turtle! It was amazing. The lagoon totally made up for the lack of beach area. We could’ve stayed there for hours. The pools were fantastic. Always had plenty of room and also had entertainment if we wanted it. Drinks and bars were fantastic! Frozen drinks were delicious and they could pretty much make you anything you wanted. Overall, staff was pretty good. Some not so much, but you get that everywhere! We had no issues with staff or they or anything. Everything was clean, fun, and we would consider coming back.

Overall this is a nice hotel. Pools are great, rooms are nice, lazy river is awesome, the gardens are gorgeous, landscaping is top notch, food is fantastic. Service at bars could be better. Quite slow, under staffed and often out of basic items like Soda water and mojito mix. The hotel says shuttle service is included - IT IS NOT INCLUDED if you book with Expedia. Had to pay for transportation both ways. Couldn’t get USD on site, no one would change my larger Dominican peso bills. The water is rough at this location, there is a small lagoon that is nice sandy and calm, however, it is no comparison to Bavaro beach. It is about 30 min from Punta Cana with nothing near by. Really enjoyed it, but likely a one time stay for those reasons.

The property was very nice HOWEVER and this was so bad we actually had to make a complaint. The food was HORRIBLE! It is such a shame because the resort is beautiful and our stay was good for the need, but having bad food truly brings the value down dramatically. I am Vegan and I specifically stated this when booking and when I got to the resort, yet there were no options for me to eat. The majority of the time I was left very hungry and unsatisfied because of the make shift meal I had to try to create. The worst part, when I asked the chefs at the buffet and at the restaurants if they could make something for me, giving them the details of what you can make for vegans, they did not care or barely tried. We had to go to guest services to speak on this because at one point I was getting extremely hungry. Sadly if I wanted to ever return to this resort, I would have to decline due to lackluster meal options and lack of care from the cooking staff.

Beds were comfortable , Bathroom was in need for MUCHO. maintenance. Staff was rude . Food wasn’t good . You go for Dominican Food In DR and it wasn’t bad . My mom can make better Mangu. ☹️

The location is great with a beautiful beach, (though not allowed to use chairs there). Rooms are clean but outdated. service and food quality leave a lot to be desired. Very difficult to make reservations, or reach service representative assigned as no responds to calls, texts, or emails. Not available in person either and no one knows anything- the only answer is “tomorrow”. Was trying to celebrate a birthday but restaurant staff didn’t agree in all three places, one didn’t even have dessert at all. Poor selection of drinks too. Not quite what I expected.
