There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay at Becketts. There isn't an elevator which could be a concern if you have large bags. Our room was very small but comfortable. The tiny shower sprayed the entire bath, so floor could be slippery. The staff are all wonderful and the breakfast is very good. Great location to restaurants, the pier, Gunwarf Quay, Hovercraft to Isle of Wight and naval museum.
