It is an older motel right off the beginning of the boardwalk. Small rooms but convenient location. No pool. Staff was very accommodating.

This property is old and needs some renovation. The bed is comfortable. The shower faucet needs to be replaced, but still does the job. Has a small sofa but is dirty I had to put towel on top of the sofa for me to sitting down. This is why I am giving 4 stars.

From the moment we walked in that evening customer service was great we were in and out and up to our room the view was great so quiet and being able to walk out right to boardwalk was so awesome me and my neice slept like babies. Thanks so much for making my visit great I will be back next month

The owners were super nice. It’s super close to the boardwalk. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and you have to leave your key when you park. Overall for the price it was nice. Would stay there again.

The Monaco Motel

It was the perfect hotel for an overnight trip to Wildwood. It's in the perfect location. It's 1 block from the beach and boardwalk. The rooms are adorable and clean. The staff was great! It's going to be my new spot to stay in Wildwood!

Stay somewhere else in Wildwood.

This may be the worst place I have booked his hotels.com. You should actually be ashamed to even over this place on your site. It was shabby and run down. There was not adequate parking for guest vehicles with blocking other guests’ cars in. The lobby smelled terrible. It is like they just do the absolute minimum to keep the place open. And what they charge for such ratty accommodations is ridiculous! In all fairness we found Wildwood to be a rundown and shabby town. We will probably never return to Wildwood, and if we do, we would sleep in a cardboard box before we stayed at the Monaco again.

Ownership will try to Nickle and Dime you, otherwise if you pre-pay through expedia it is a decent deal and super close to the boardwalk. Rooms are OK, not great, but good enough for a trip to the Jersey Shore.

I’d like to share my experience with this hotel. I initially canceled one of my room bookings in order to rebook at a lower rate. The cancellation was done well in advance, within the penalty-free period, and the receptionist assured me it would be processed. However, the hotel still charged me for the canceled room. Despite following up, the cancellation was never properly handled, and I had to resolve the issue myself through my credit card provider. I’m not someone who complains easily — the room was fine for the price. But this experience was a waste of my time and negatively affected my peace of mind.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The building is old and needs repair. The room is more like a dorm…painted cinder block walls and ceiling. Room was extremely drafty…major air leaks around the door. Also, we could hear our neighbors tv and conversations. The money for the room is mostly for the location.

Convenient to boardwalk and beach. The motel itself needs a lot of updates and more cleaning staff. They let young people stay there and do not monitor the way they treat there property. I also think they should have certain rooms with dogs and rooms you can’t bring dogs. I have stayed there years ago and was never this bad. Hopefully they can change something’s to make it better again. Thank you.
