So I stayed with them 4 nights before I book this 2 nights with hotels.com. And for what you pat was great, had hot water, fridge, breakfast. Staff is really good. Location is amazing you can walk every where. Relatively clean. So was kind of worthy what I paid. But the 2 days booked through hotels.com was not good. It was a big power outage in the area and they had a generator which we had power but there was no water nothing. The other hotels around they had the water and was hot also. Had to shower at a friend which was in the city. And the. The next day was ok but the second night water was again. They brought a 10 kilo bottle of water but is not easy to use for toilet or shower. Good i showered during the day. Till the moment I checked out there was no water still. It is a shame because the staff is so good and kind of has what u basicly need to be in the colonial zone. But the watee issue need to be fixed and did not had to do only with the area.

The room was very unkept, and dirty. No matching anything, only gave us a bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper. When we asked for another roll of paper we got one that was already halfway gone. Also one towel per person and was very strict about them. Not even a wash cloth or hand towel just TWO towels. The air conditioner was old and musty/moldy smelling. The fridge was disgustingly dirty. Spider webs all over the place and not to mention mosquitoes that we kept killing. Breakfast was also not great. We DID like the location. Close to almost everything within walking distance. Needs updating and better customer care

The hotel is conveniently located from all the famous locations (cathedral, plaza espana, etc.) and has a variety of restaurants, shops, and a supermarket all in short walking distance. I think, the initial room that I was assigned to perhaps was not ideal in general including the decor, lighting and facilities such as a non working refrigerator. This is a typical Dominican place. The description provided by the site needs to be updated, amenities are not as listed. Maybe they existed at one time but not now. The staff were friendly and courteous, but the hotel needs many repairs. It’s a place to sleep, that’s what you get along with some coffee and a preplanned everyday breakfast. I would not recommend it to North American travellers with expectations.
