This hotel is definitely past its prime but for the price, it provided a bed for the 7 hours of sleep I required before checkout. The best part of my stay was being woken up by the smell of breakfast being made by Casa Guame right next to the hotel. The two burritos were some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

This is an old hotel that has been redone a number of times and is on its lash legs. If you only need a bed, it will work. If you need someplace to feel clean and comfortable, skip this one. It is more a long-term lodging for oilfield workers in the area and it is a hotel. And that is shown in everything from the cleanliness to the people sitting on the front porch grilling with their dog running up and down. The front desk clerk is hard of hearing and difficult to get their attention. It is very convenient to anything in Alpine and to the highway toward Big Bend.

I went into the first room and the toilet was leaking all over the floor about an inch of water in the bathroom, the floors were dirty and the beds did not look like they had been cleaned entire room was filthy! Went into the second room got the door open and was appalled I would not recommend this property to a homeless person it would be cleaner out on the streets of Alpine and probably safe after seeing some of what looked like the permanent residents! STAY AWAY!!!

Hotels.com pictures were NOT accurate at all. I've stayed in better maintained hostels than this place! Cockroaches, disgusting showers/restrooms, scary rooms and parking lot! Does not feel safe at all!

It's a motel meant to just crash for a night. Easy ample parking. Easy check-in and check out. Don't expect too much out of the property. It's the cheapest motel you'll get in the area so you get what you pay for. Just use it to crash for the night and get out. However there are some great breakfast and coffee places right outside.
