It’s a ways away from Kyoto Station so good luck getting too and from with luggage (you can take the karasuma line from Kyoto station and walk about 20 minutes and mostly even sidewalk).

Quite far from train stations. But the property offers pickup and transport of luggage from near Kyoto Station and its free. But you have to do your own transport of luggage back later.
