Very convenient for visiting the Ffestiniog railway or wider attractions in north Wales. Comfortable and spacious room, clean and tidy. Excellent value. Breakfast reasonable at £12, but does not serve until 08.30am, no good if wanting to leave early!

It is such a beautiful building in an incomparably lovely setting. Who could not love it? Maybe a little faded ( it’s old!) but full of character! The staff were very welcoming and with a great sense of humour.

Buffet breaksfast was available on request on all days of the week for £12. Food was great and room was very spacious and well equipped. There is no air conditioning so the rooms can get hot in summer. The bathroom fan was also very noisy when running. Overall had a great stay

A wonderful stay at Oakley Hotel! The rooms are full of charm — beautifully old-style yet surprisingly comfortable. Dinner, we are steak pie which was delicious and breakfast were both delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel in a great location. Our family room was HUGE and included one double bed and two single beds. Biscuits and bottled water were included which was a lovely touch. Ample free parking. Bathroom was lovely and modern was really powerful shower. Would definitely stay here again!
