I asked for a quiet room, but the staff room was right in front of my window, so I could hear the staff. I could hear them making work-related calls, talking late into the night, humming, coughing, and gargling. It was impossible to relax. I think a hotel's mission is to help guests relax and relieve their travel fatigue. They shouldn't have a staff room in front of a guest room. They should have advertised this room as a risky one from the start.
