The property itself was beautiful.The staff overall was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. However, we were offered a tour of the VIP area that ended up wasting 3.5 hours of our trip. We never asked for the tour or said we were committing to anything, yet Yunior at the Ultimate Club was very rude and told us we were “the wrong people” because we weren’t planning to spend $4,000. His attitude was uncalled for and left a bad impression. Also, the food lacked flavor and didn’t reflect the Dominican culture we expected. Aside from that, the rest of the team was great.

This place was beautiful & staff very friendly. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because the food at the buffet and the steakhouse was mediocre at best. The Italian restaurant was terrible! But the Japanese restaurant was fantastic!! Karen in the office beside the check-in desk was always very helpful & Sarieli, hostess at the buffet was super sweet & always had a smile on her face!

It is a beautiful property, but the total experience was not so good; the food, the beverages, and the service were not. The room was a little too old, the AC was not working appropriately, and the bathroom was old; there was not enough water running in the shower, and sometimes it was cold. I gave this Hotel two out of four stars.
