We loved our stay at Little Brook Cottage. Perfectly located within the town of Windermere and walkable to shops, restaurants and sights. A little piece of home in The Lake District.

The location of the property was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and trails. Having the parking permit was also a bonus. The kitchen was not clean and we were greeted by a dishwasher full of disgusting dishes. The pots and pans cupboard smelled disgusting therefore we bought our own frying pan and pots. There was no hand washing soap and 1 roll of toilet paper, no paper towel. We had to go to a local tesco to buy supplies. We didn’t expect a whole weeks supply but a few rolls of each would’ve been considerate. The upstairs main bedroom had a lot of stains on the carpet but other than these complaints the bedding was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A little TLC and a good clean would make it a 5 star property.
