A slightly run-dien exterior disguises this lovely little hotel in the heart of Alfama, just 5 mins from Miradouro de Sta Luzia. We had a 'superior room' which was huge - sofa, fridge, lovely bathroom, 2 big windows (roof top view of the opposite side of the street) with warm, minimalist decor. Comfortable twin beds for me & my son. Very helpful, friendly staff and having arrived early we were able to store our bags until check in. I've bookmarked it for our next stay and would highly recommend.

Rented a suite. Overall it was great, even a nice backyard area, great for relaxing. Only complaints were that the sofa is beginning to show its age, the TV screen was quite small and, like many places in Portugal, nobody thought about places to hang towels and garments in the bathroom. Still, it was nice, quiet and a pleasant experience staying in the historic Alfama area of Lisbon.

The room is quite old and does not match the advertised photos. There were many issues, including a leaking bathroom tap that caused extremely low water pressure. In addition, the television, cooker hood, one of the air conditioners, and several lamps were all out of order. We raised these issues, but due to the year-end period, no one came to repair them, and no alternative rooms were available. It was a very unpleasant stay and completely ruined our trip. It was absolutely not worth the money we paid.
