"We used the vallet service for our vehicle...cost a littlenover 114 bucks for 3 days....totally worth it. The staff at the hotel was exceptional, always there to assist if needed and always pleasant. This place is old, so dont expect anything different. That being said, the reno that they have done is classy and comfortable. The old school esthetics is why we stayed here. Close to everything, the only annoyance we had was the amount of bums, begging everywhere. Clean that up Cleveland...no one wants someone perfectly healthy and able to work asking for your money, and multiple trys at that. I worked damn hard for my money, and have no problem helping the needy....these people are lazy con artists. Beyond that, great stay, service, and atmosphere!!"

"The best historical hotel in Cleveland! The staff is always friendly. The hotel is extremely well maintenance for its age. You almost feel like you’re staying in an old museum or palace. Free dinner, free drinks, free breakfast! As a world traveler, I haven’t experienced such perks at any other hotel, from boutique to chains. The rooms are big, comfortable and quiet. It’s also in a very centralized location downtown. This would be considered a safe neighborhood."

"Easy check in and the parking was a plus. Very lovely and well maintained hotel. Breakfast was alright. Didn’t leave hungry but yet to stay anywhere where it knocked me off my feet. There was a nice coffee house next door and had a good brew. Walked to a restaurant for dinner in an area where we felt safe. Would stay here again. "
