"Le séjour s'est très bien passé. Ambiance conviviale, chambre confortable. Dans la chambre double se trouvent deux fauteuils, une petite table basse, une salle de bains équipée, de multiples rangements. Je n'ai pas pris le petit-déjeuner par manque de temps car j'étais en déplacement professionnel. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et à l'écoute. Très bonne localisation : plusieurs cafés et restaurants à proximité, ainsi que la cathédrale ou le Gros-Horloge. Je recommande ! Seul point...

Hotel location was fantastic, just a block off the midway point of Rick Steve’s asking tour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rouen is definitely worth a couple days. See the Beaux Arts museum. "Hotel Dandy was amazing in beautiful Rouen! The location was amazing since it was less than five minutes from the center of the old square. The restaurants were everywhere and the food was excellent. I had a great recommendation from the hotel less than 10 steps away. The room was absolutely gorgeous and amazing with a large bathroom with a shower door and nice shower. It was very clean, comfy and cozy, I totally recommend visiting this hotel in Rouen. "I loved it! No reception, no service during the stay, but a very warm welcome from Herve at the beginning, orienting me to the setup. Clean and quiet - and the latter is pretty miraculous for Rouen on a Saturday night! Room was pretty and looked out on a courtyard; I didn't see anyone else. Highly recommended if you like your alone-time as a traveller! "Les Carmes" reflects that there was a Carmelite nunnery in the area - and there was a lovely feeling of being on retreat."
