"Unfortunately, when I checked into this hotel, I was supposed to have a suite with two double beds. They gave me a king bed and a pullout couch and attempted to bring in an extra mattress and lay it in the middle of the living room floor. My girlfriend used the pullout couch, which had a huge bloody stain on it. I walked around the room for five minutes and a brand new pair of white socks turned black the water pressure if you use the water downstairs the water upstairs would cut off half of the lamps upstairs do not work. The property is very dated in order to make things right they offered me a one free buffet ticket and their buffet is horrible. One free ticket to the buffet, even though there were two of us staying there The food is cold. It looks like a two star golden corral. I would never stay here again. They did nothing to attempt to make this right. They even dropped off a piece of chocolate and some fruit to say sorry but the cleanliness of the rooms of this place is disgusting."

"This was my first time in Guatemala City and the hotel had a good location but there were few details in regards to the property that were no so good I am a coffee drinker and to find out the coffee machine it was broken at my room in the morning was a disappointment then no small towels to dry your face, hands and the extra small towel to put outside of the shower so when you step out it avoid to slipping from the wet floor since the showers don’t have doors, it was another disappointing detail I could have call the front desk for all these things but if a hotel has a very good service standard review It should have maintenance people inspecting as often they can it should not be the customer calling for every single item that I need to the front desk to mitigate the issue and by the way the remote control fro tv was not working either. I would recommend to stay there, if there are no other options near this area and the Expedia VIP status doesn’t help at least on this property. So would say it was okay!"

"Nice hotel, however there is a rooftop nightclub across the street which kept us up until it closed at 1am. There are no true windows or doors to the place so sound travelled in. Also it got incredibly hot in the room and we weren’t able to open the windows because it opened to the hallway, or it led to the noise. However it is very very central, the restaurant is fantastic, and it is quite beautiful."
