"Room was nice, great view from the balcony. We found the breakfast food and poolside lunch to be the most enjoyable food options. Be sure to make a daily dinner reservation on the Riu app before your trip if you can! Prepare for outlets in the room to not work well."

"The room was clean and comfortable. This property has more of a local vibe, more Spanish speakers than English- but it’s México so normally for the native language to be used more. I didn’t have any issues with the staff, even if you don’t speak Spanish you can usually communicate. The food is good, not great. The way you have to set reservations for specialty dining is inconvenient, you have to wake up at 7am to go stand in a line before all slots are taken. The beach is nice, but there are a lot of vendors and banda groups, so it can be a little loud. If you have a quiet relaxing stay in mind this might not be the right place. But it’s affordable and fun. Drinks are strong and plentiful. "

"The hotel claimed to be pet friendly with breakfast included. My dog is a service dog and was reluctantly allowed. There was no breakfast included. One of our towels was stained. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Very cozy and clean unit. Location in very good. Two steps for the malecon and short walk to Plaza Machado. Somewhat noisy at times, especially week end with traffic and loud music in the passing cars. Could be better equipped for longer stays (very limited cooking and cleaning utilities. Nice roof top pool with very limited seating"
