Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.
This sweet little hotel is perched on the edge of town and walking distance to some great bars and restaurants. It is a no-frills budget option with a wonderful breakfast included in the low price of the room. Service was exceptional all around!
The hotel is located a bit far from the historic district (not walkable) but cabs are plentiful and the cost is 4-10 Euros (depending on traffic). The hotel itself is spectacular with modern rooms, a great breakfast buffet and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly.
We loved everything about this hotel! The staff is friendly, the hotel is brand new, the river view is amazing, great parking, easy access, safe area, buffet breakfasts are incredible, dinner on the pier is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. We will be back.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful location in a historic building with unbelievable views of the Douro and Dom Luis I Bridge. We loved our three night stay at Memoria Porto. The staff treated us like royalty and our room overlooked the Douro River. One tip, we can offer is to take the # 500 bus to the coast and pay a lot less for authentic Portugese food, wine, and beer. We will definitely be back. The morning breakfast was filling and delightful.

Beautiful property in a very walkable part of Porto. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly. We did a mother daughter trip and loved being able to sit on the balcony off our room or at the rooftop bar and enjoy some wine and the sunset in the evening.
The staff was exceptionally nice, perfect location. Everything in Porto was a 10-15 minute walk. Quiet at night in our room. The shower has amazing water pressure. Will be back when in Porto.

We like this hotel. It's located outside of the super busy and congested areas of old town, but it's still accessible by Metro (the station is across the street) or a cheap BOLT ride. The streets are FLAT! It's a 20 minute walk to old town with interesting architecture and shops along the way.
