You can walk to the venue in 5 minutes or less and there are so many restaurants and bars in the area that are walking distance. No need for your car at all. We will definitely stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Norfolk Downtown again!"

"The staff was excellent in a respects. The rooms were clean and adequate for our purposes. The location, next to ODU, was good for us as our daughter was in grad school there. The restaurant come in handy for good, quick meals. "

"The staff - 10/10. Great attitude, EXTREMELY helpful. Organized and ON TOP of managing the hotel. Well done! Cleanliness- 10/10. Breakfast- 8/10. Eggs were cold, juice machine broken. Food was good though and I ate it sooooo Parking- 10/10. No fees, just a parking lot; well lit, ample size. Check in- 12/10. Flawless. Room- 12/10. Size, comfort, amenities- fantastic. They were shy with towels but I’m sure I could’ve asked for more if needed due to the staff being absolutely flawless....

"The room, accommodations and staff were great! The breakfast was better than most hotels; really enjoyed the chicken and waffle option. Apparently if you arrive early in the week there are happy hour days that offer snacks and beverages. I plan to return for this experience. This hotel was also cheaper than surrounding hotels. I would definitely recommend this location for your next stay."

"Fabulous staff. Checkin easy. Very nice breakfast buffet. However, mattress was old, kept rolling into body grooves. Gauze curtain in 2nd floor room with large high light over oarking lot shining in. Decorative drapes at edges of window-not designed to close. Tough to sleep in near daylight conditions"
