"Hey, the room was nice and clean but showed signs of wear and peeling paint. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful and kind. Location is awesome. Chicago is a very walkable city, the hotel is located right on the river with nice views."

"I purchased a Lake View Room, when I arrived they said my room was not available yet and moved me to another room. I could see the lake only if I stood behind the T.V. All three windows had no view at all. When I brought it up to staff they said that the room qualified as a Lake View and would not reimburse me or move me to another room. I told them at most this room should be a partial lake view and they wouldn’t listen. It’s a money grab, be careful with this one. Soda and water bottles in the lobby are $8 each and the hotel removed the vending machines on the floors forcing you to go downstairs. There’s way better hotels in Chicago. This one is a microcosm to everything wrong with Chicago."
