"This property is very dated. The grounds are nice. Our room had a fireplace and the minute we opened the door the smell of smoke was all consuming. I’m not sure what wood they use in the fireplaces, but it had a very odd smell that was overwhelming. The room was clean, and very large. We appreciated that part. We also loved the fact that we could open the sliding glass door to the garden area to circulate some fresh air. I have a feeling that this place was probably top notch when it was built. It served its purpose for our one night in the area. "

"A bit old fashioned in terms of decor but that's what makes it unique. Room was clean and comfortable, beautiful views from the window. Good breakfast buffet. There is a small workout room but not much else in terms of amenities. Shuttle to and from the airport. Walking path along the water directly behind the hotel. Beautiful patio out back to sit and eat that overlooks the water. Not much around it in terms of shopping or restaurants outside of the ones in hotels. 3min walk or a few mins drive to all of that. Close to Millbrae station for Bart and Caltrain."

"There is no shuttle during the day . The hotel is 3 miles from airport and you will be charged $30 minimum by uber. Don’t get there early, 30 minutes before check in and if I did not wait it was a $34 surcharge. Never again…"

"More snack and drink machines would be helpful. Perhaps someone who knows the area that can send u in the right direction for activities."
