"I have traveled to Kauai and have stayed over the years to the Coral Reef. The staff are excellent and the gem of this hotel! The management of the property has been neglected. The elevator was broken, the laundry facility was unavailable, the room smoke detector was covered with a garbage bag, the VCR was missing the control. Once we were able to get another control to work with the vcr, the movie we were going to watch was not in the case. Whoever is managing this facility needs to do there job!"

"The hotel is located in a cool part of town, it’s very vintage in feel, built in the 60’s but well maintained. Located near restaurants and close to Kauai museum and other points of interest. would work for a couple of days, pretty small for 2 people for any length of time.very nice staff named Reni (sp?)"

"Very nice hotel in an extremely convenient location - you are in the middle of Kauai with easy access to every part of the island. Across the street there is a grocery store, abc store and a lot of food places / ice cream. The hotel itself was clean, staff was very nice & easy to get a hold of. Very family friendly, there was a lot of kids. Pools were kept clean and there’s a beach you can walk to from the hotel. Very nice hotel &"
