Although the facilities are dated the location with a private beach is ideal for a get away vacation. I particularly love the club level rooms in the “newer” of the two buildings. "Service was outstanding. Setting is unique, part jungle part beach. Beach is beautiful, the sand is soft. Waves are calm. Saw whales! Great for kids and walking. Pools great. Resort food is expensive, cocktails are $20. Room is nice, although bathroom is not very well lit. Loved the double sinks."

"Beautiful location. Great Staff who seem happy to be there. My room had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, and a kitchen, plus a wraparound balcony giving panoramic views of the bay. We listened to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Yes, the hotel is a bit older, but it is well maintained, well staffed, and clean. On the bus route to Mismaloya, or a 6 minute cab ride to the Romantic Zone."
