"We had our bags taken from us as soon as we arrived. However we had to wait for 2-3 hours for our room to be ready, which meant we couldn’t get changed into something appropriate for the heat/poolside"

"Rooms were excellent comfy bed air conditioned and toiletries provided. Breakfast was usually same every day continental style with hot food not very hot but always something to have. Waiter service at bar was a bit of a hit and miss getting part order then rest 10 minutes later even though when not busy! Having an outside bar area was good as not all hotels have this. Hotel on outskirts of very busy area but was quiet at night."

"Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Most probably one of the best hotels breakfasts I’ve had lots of variety. Staff friendly. Hotel was very clean. 10 minute walk to Paceville very central to St Julian’s. Easy access to other parts of the island via public transport. Only downside is that the Aircon wasn’t the greatest. Wasn’t very powerful and the room felt constantly sticky. Couldn’t get the room temp cooler than 26°"

"The hotel was lovely! We enjoyed our stay and the whole team, from check in, to breakfast, to cleaning to poolside were there to aid a great stay. Our room was huge and immaculate! We stayed on the 10th floor. Breakfast was ample, with lots of choices with no need to purchase additional items, although you can. We ordered once poolside, it was good. The pool is great, although can get busy and finding a lounger is at times hard. They have a 15 min towel removal rule but don't enforce it. You get towels and have access to the spa across the road. There are live acts at the hotel, all sounded great. We ventured far from the hotel most days as locally it’s awful. The bus tour, Gozo buggy adventure and walk along to Sliema were all brilliant. "

"The stay was very enjoyable. Staff were extremely helpful especially Manwel, Chakana, Ria and all the wonderful breakfast staff. Facilities were great. The only negative was the very early morning construction work which began at 7am. We weren’t aware of this when booking. A lovely touch was the birthday surprise from the staff. We will definitely return to Hotel Juliani!"
