"Rather than staying in Amsterdam city centre this trip I tried the Ibis, about five kilometres out. The room was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff are amazing looking after all my requests. The bus transportation is excellent leaving from across the street every fifteen minutes ( a little longer at times in the weekend) then only a fifteen minute ride to Amsterdam Centraal. "What an awesome accommodation for my last few nights in Amstedam. The unit has everything you need, and is close to the tram line to Centraal Station. It also has an amazing shower and was beautifully climate controlled for the warm days. You do get some tram noise in the morning, but your hosts will graciously provide you were earplugs. Highly recommend staying here."

"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."

"We had a fabulous stay! Staff were friendly and efficient, nothing seemed too much trouble. The little touches such as cold water and warm waffle on check-in were appreciated. Our room was brand new and spotless with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the pool next door which was busy (it was a scorching day) but refreshing after a day in central Amsterdam. Super convenient for transport too with a bus stop just outside where you can just tap on the bus with your card. If I...
