"Great historic location with many restaurants across the canal. Room clean and Scandinavian. Sink could be larger, but plenty of room in bathroom. Be prepared to open a window on a warm day in the summer. Don't expect warm bacon and scrambled eggs, but has a nice continental breakfast with plenty to eat in a nice Scandinavian dining area. Staff were very nice and I would stay here again if I come back to Copenhagen."

Very clean and despite the very central location extremely quiet. Nice very helpful staff, good parking space just down the road. This will be a strange review in that I didn't leave the room for the entire stay. I didn't eat in the restaurant, and I didn't explore the area, although the area looked to be amazing. I came down with food poisoning and double pneumonia while in Berlin ( on my way to Copenhagen.) The staff could not have been kinder. When, on a Sunday, when I inquired about a clinic, they saw to it that a doctor came to the hotel. That alone makes this hotel stand out in my mind.

The hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I was given an upgrade to a large room which I appreciated. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is on an island and rather secluded, especially at night. The famed Freetown Christiania is barely ten minutes away and there are many coffee shops nearby.
Fantastic place in a prime location. You are greeted right off in a welcoming manner and cared for during your stay.
