"The property is in a perfect location in a very fun area of Portland. Proper downtown is less than a mile away, public transit options are NUMEROUS (and well organized due to the city's focus), Trader Joe's and Fred Meyer's are walkable, and the nightlife options are incredible. The hosts for the shared living space are incredibly friendly and prompt on their communication. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I had more business in the city."

Credit to expedia for doing something they rarely do...refunding me themselves after calling the staff who are truly nasty people. "The Marriott Waterfront Portland was a typical downtown stay with a nice view of the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The M Club lounge was available for our stay and another couple. We had heavy hors d’euorvers in the evening and a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings during our stay.
