great place to stay, one of the best values in town. 15 mins S-Bahn ride to the central train station, clean and spacious rooms and generous breakfast buffet. The rooms have a kitchenette, so the place is especially suitable for longer stays. I have been going to the Gaestehaus for almost 30 years and I don't see a reason to stay in any other place in Munich

The room is small but very efficient. The train station into Munich is very close making this an ideal place to visit with parking included. Breakfast was very good, but note, no eggs, bacon, or sausage.

Property is on a lake with trails. Beautiful! Clean room with comfortable bed.

Rooms clean & spacious. Close to where we wanted to visit. Not close to city center. Staff accommodating, except the front desk receptionist, Lisa, she was awesome. She was the best welcome we could possibly expect.

Staff is wonderful and very accommodating, especially when calling Taxi's for guests. Breakfast is awesome and so full of many traditional options!

The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

Great Hotel! Amazing staff as they responded to all request quickly. They even help me find a nail salon close by. VIP room upgrade was amazing! Very clean hotel, amazing gym considering the area. Very quiet, close by all shopping and dining in Marienplatz.

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. Simply perfect. I'm gonna say best value for any hotel. Love the room design themed on a painter. Everything was brand new, super clean and 100% working. Front desk people are funny and delightful. The location is great if you want to explore the old town. The direct neighborhood around the station is a little funky but it's diverse and fun.

Amazing restaurant with wonderful service. Breakfast buffet is well worth it and a great restaurant for dinner upon arrival. Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. Great location in a beautiful area!

Best hotel, conveniently located for the Oktoberfest. I’ve stayed there the last 2 years for Oktoberfest and it’s the only hotel I’ll stay at in Munich! I will definitely be back!
