"Viseu is a beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay and learning about the history of the property. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a lovely room. The rooms are much nicer than the photos."

"Everything was great about the room and the property (they have very fresh and tasty scrambled eggs in the morning !) with one exception; we had hot weather (up to 91F) in the middle of the day, and I noticed that the A/C was on but not blowing cold enough; it definitely needed some maintenance; however, I did not ask for it. The room was very clean and the shower was also great. The staff were very friendly and helpful too."

"Very helpful reception who recommended a local restaurant Porta64 which had good food but no everything was available . We were under the impression that we could take dinner at the hotel . But only breakfast was available . Which was very good ."

"Puro Dao is one of my best hotel and spa experiences. To start with the location; It is located in the outskirts of a charming village in the countryside. There is a station 2 minutes away so you don’t need a car to get there. Once you inside you fell relaxed and very welcome by the lovely staff. Everything is perfect from the different climate smart light to the materials and over to the furnitures and interior design. The Spa is amazing and so is the outdoor pool in the garden. The nature surrounding the village is great for hiking and there is different hiking trails. After the hike I recommend a treatment in the spa, I got a hot stone massage which was heaven. Finally, don’t miss the great local wines and food in the restaurant, or the breakfast. "
