Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

This is a wonderful respite within the City. Great location and fantastic customer service. The property is charming and very well located. The rooms are large and clean and have thoughtful details (eg sound machine for getting to sleep). Lots of great art throughout. Wonderful and thoughtful local arrival and departure gifts.

This is a beautiful property a few miles from town. We rented a car for our 6-day stay which proved to be very convenient. Our 2-bedroom apartment was lovely, comfortable, clean, quiet and had a sweeping view of the beach, the service was excellent, everyone went out of their way to greet us. The food at the pool bar and restaurant was good. I only have 2 complaints. The first is that the pool is relatively small and was constantly filled with small children and plastic pool toys, we would have...

Overall, the staff was great and very friendly. On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. There was an error in the type of vehicle to the airport because I had asked the night before to reserve a van that would fit a family of 6, but they were able to obtain 2 taxis fairly quickly for the same price we would’ve paid for the van. Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

A very clean well kept hotel. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. The only problem I recommend to be done to our room is to fix the drainage in the shower drain system. The water stays in the area and it doesn’t drain properly. Other than we highly recommended the hotel.

Loved the location, the luxury feeling and the staff. They made sure I had my taxi for my departure at 4:30 am. Would love to stay here in the future. Loved the key pass door lock no need to carry keys.

We are so thankful because we were allowed to check in early. I guess they have available rooms so we were really lucky for that. The location its amazing the zocalo its like 5 minutes walk and the 20 the noviembre two blocks away. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and nice , the bed was a bit small but comfortable. However the AC AND FAN make up for it Overall we will definitely go back!

Stunning hotel with beautiful pools and incredible views! Great breakfast and excellent (though limited) dinner options. Huge rooms - balcony has sweeping bay views, jacuzzi tub, day bed, and hammock - spent so much time out here. Some renovation going on but no noise and didn't detract from our stay at all. Perfect hotel for 2-3 night stay. Walking distance to beaches of Puerto Angel, and easy taxi ride to Zipolite, etc. from main road.

The staff & ownership of Casa Joseph clearly put a lot of thought, energy, and care into this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here - the food was absolutely delicious (and generally reasonably priced), especially the breakfast. I would say the overall vibe is relaxation, so not too many amenities outside of a nice wading pool, yoga, spa services. They had live music every night. Beautiful property. Only feedback is that the water pressure and shower drainage is not great. If you maximize the shower head there will be a ton of water overflow in your bathroom. Other than that, this place is amazing.

It was beautiful. Beyond our expectations. Great ambiance. Staff was on top of everything, super friendly and helpful. They truly made tis experience the best! While at the coffee bar, my 7 year old daughter wanted a milk chocolate drink that was not on the menu and the two young guys at the bar offered to make it. They truly make it special! Definitely recommend.
