"Vivanta Kochi is a newly built hotel, just outside the city limits of Aluva. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I was visiting my parents who currently live in Aluva.
As this hotel is only six months old, everything is new and shiny. I loved my room as it was very large and luxurious for what I paid ($46 per night). The room has all the amenities like tea, coffee, soap, shampoo etc. It was would have been nice if the mini fridge was functional. I was woken up occasionally by the noise from the highway. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the street. I will stay here again if I can get a room under $80. Uber is easily available at all hours.
I had my breakfast and dinner here every night. The menu is an assortment of Indian, continental and Asian cuisine. The North Indian and South Indian items were very good, but the rest were merely passable. The restaurant needs to expand its menu to include more salads and more Indian dishes. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. Samishta, Pooja and Alok were particularly helpful in the restaurant."
"The property was exceptionally well maintained, and the staff were polite, welcoming, and highly informative throughout our stay. The cafeteria offered an excellent variety of food choices, all of which were enjoyable. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, and the view from the room was absolutely phenomenal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to friends and family."
