"Very bad experience, won't recommend this hotel at all.
When I checked in, I was told 30/breakfast bought at front desk and 40 at restaurant. I said I would buy two days first. However when I had breakfast at Nobu restaurant the following morning, just when I had my food, the staff came to me and ask me to answer the call from front desk. She told me loudly that only when I buy all the four days breakfast I can have the tariff 30/day, otherwise I should pay 40/meal.
That totally destroyed my feeling! I went there for vacation and booked 4 nights! When I had my breakfast, somebody want me to pick up their phones to argue about that?! That's only 10 difference, but I paid 4 nights!
Why the frontdesk didn't told me that? He already did my check in very very in very low efficiency. Why the restaurant staff disrupted my time?
Of course I paid 40, but won't go there again.
In addition, I order in-room dining twice. I have to say the food is very salty. I had been to 5 Nobus around the world: Tokyo, Budapest, Malibu, London. Definitely Barcelona's Nobu is the worst."
"Great staff and excellent breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located to tourist sites but currently the street, Las Ramblas, is doing a tremendous amount of construction. It is loud during daytime hours. Also, the subway station is close by and you will hear rumbling but it did not bother me. "
"House keeping was not good at all. Room was supposed to be supplied with shampoo, body wash, conditioner. We entered the room with only empty bottles of each. We had to call numerous times to get these supplies refilled/replaced. The room itself was covered in dust bunnies and had orange stains everywhere."
"I had a very good experience here. Nice lobby bar with good light food, great restaurant for good lunchtime/dinnertime fare, very clean room with very good housekeeping service, excellent and helpful concierge, great location (near metro, amost next to Diagonal Mar with large food selection, very easy walk to confevention center)."
