Amalia Hotel Delphi

"There was no air conditioning. Our room was 27 C. The shower head was loose and water sprayed everywhere. One of the bulbs was burned out and we told them but it was never replaced. They were cleaning up after an economic summit and garbage was strewn everywhere out front. The coffee in our room was instant. This was like a Motel 6. They cater to tour bus groups so breakfast at the buffet was frenetic. Because we were one couple, they were indifferent to our needs. When we complained about the problems they were very patronizing with "so sorrys" but never fixed anything or offered us anything. The room had mold or other allergens and both my wife and I were affected. Our room wasn't cleaned until 3:35 pm and they didn't even replace the tea bags."
"The property was difficult to find and I had to park some distance away and walk a difficult path to property. This should have been addressed. Mentioning the issue to the staff member who checked me in received a nonplussed response."

Bathroom is clean, but, again, has an institutional vibe - needs a complete renovation. Bathroom door was missing its latch, so it would not stay closed.

"The room was clean, bright with a great view from the balcony. My only complaint would be the air conditioner wasn’t working so it was a little hot to sleep. Great location, walking distance from museum & ruins. Cocktail bar a block away was amazing! "
"The vibe was more like Swiss Alps than Greece, we were truly amazed with the stunning views. We arrived on a cold night and the room was warm and cozy. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and made us feel really welcome. Also, hotel is located a five minute drive away from the Delfi historic site. I would really recommend staying at this hotel."
