"I absolutely loved this hotel. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I loved the decor. I have to give special shoutout to the staff members who made the experience very pleasant, which included Freddy, Joz, and Gustavo. They were very attentive and accommodating. I don’t feel the need to explore other options for hotels to stay at when I come to Quito again because I only want to stay here. That’s how much I loved it!"

"This property is beautiful and the views from this hotel were incredible; they even had a telescope in the restaurant to see the "angel" up close! We got a corner room, with breath-taking city views from every angle. We got a wonderful breeze in the room by opening the windows. Every single staff member that we encountered was amazing - friendly, attentive, and happy to accommodate our every need - especially James. To use the jacuzzi, we had to give 4 hours' notice, but it was a delightful way to spend an evening with a bottle of wine. One note: the hotel is located in a more residential area and there was quite a bit of noise throughout the night (dogs barking, cars honking, etc.). If you are a light sleeper, you will probably need earplugs. The street is also quite steep with a very narrow turn at the bottom, and one of our drivers told us that some tours won't pick up from Vista del Angel because of the difficulty in getting larger vehicles through. We had no trouble getting Ubers to the hotel throughout our stay though. Food and service in the restaurant were delightful. Beautiful views from here too; though I wish the restaurant was open during the day so that we could sit on the lovely terrace for lunch or a drink. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous hotel in Quito!"

"Courteous and helpful staff. Staff does not speak English, however. This was not a problem for us since we could speak a little Spanish and could rely on Google translate. Staff was especially kind and pleasant."
