"Hotel room itself and crews are exceptional, breakfast was delicious.. except they never mentioned on booking about the renovation of the pool which family was looking forward to enjoy. So that's the downpart of the hotel,.. rather they told us during check in so, family was a bit disappointed, but rather than that, we had fun. "
"The bathroom was not very clean. There was mildew around the sink and on shower head. The staff immediately addressed the situation. They assigned me another room which was much cleaner. They went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. I will stay there the next time I’m in Tacloban City."
"We were looking for a place to stay for a quick visit to Tacloban for a friend's wedding around the Palo area. Our key concern was the proximity since we didn't want to book anywhere too far. Fan's was a great find. They had a nice and clean place, accommodating staff, and was close to a bunch of places to see, food to sample, and not as much traffic as the city's main roads. "
"The Meaco Hotel is on the main street in Calbayog City called Magasaysay Blvd. Its a few steps from a shopping plaza called Super Metro which is definitely handy when you need supplies food clothes Ect. No breakfast though that is what Jollibee's is for lol. If you are around the hotel by 4:30-5pm you can have some excellent street food along the way. If you like basketball there is a huge court across the street. Timble drivers as far as the eye can see. 50 pesos can get you anywhere you need to go in the City walking around can be an asset at times & always be aware of your surroundings."
