"Excellent, kid friendly. Service generally excellent with exception of very inefficient pool drinks service and occasional very grumpy member of staff. "
"Fantastic, relaxing stay at Sunrise Attitude. The hotel is so comfortable and chilled, with loads of comfy seating areas, really comfortable beds, and good amenities. The pools are both lovely - the main pool doesn’t have quite enough loungers but could always find space by the Social Club pool so this wasn’t an issue. Beach access across the road is really easy and plenty of loungers there too.
The spa is lovely and had a great massage there, and the free snorkelling trip was great to do too.
The only things that weren’t perfect were really not huge issues at all. The buffet at The Social House for lunch was a bit limited in choice, and due to not being very busy the food there was a bit dry at times in the heat for too long, but the Papaya bar lunch was nice (huge portions!). I was surprised by the lack of fresh fruit available - there was a fruit salad at all meals but this was very watery and, as someone slightly allergic to apples, wasn’t great as there was a lot of those - I was fishing out the orange slices to try and get some fruit in. And if you care about a hairdryer then bring your own - the one in the room is not even worth using, but it’s warm enough that drying naturally wasn’t a problem!
The staff are really friendly & lovely, there are loads of activities on if you want to do those (a good mix of fitness and fun things) or you can just chill out if not. The evening music was a great mix with some really talented singers/musicians too.
Thank you!"
"Excellent hospitality by the resort staff. Food menu has sufficient vegetarian options. Superb beach to relax and recharge and exciting water activities at the resort."
"Luxury with a Heart
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at SALT of Palmar. Everything, from the food to the accommodation was truly five-star, and the level of service consistently exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were exceptional and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every guest had the best possible experience.
One of the highlights of our trip was the privilege of visiting a local school for students with disabilities, supported by the hotel. The school caters to children as young as five through to young adults, and the work being done there is genuinely inspiring. The hotel’s support goes far beyond simple donations—they have helped furnish spaces such as a music room and contribute to practical life skills training, including making beds, setting cutlery, laundry, and more. Their fitness coach also visits regularly to support sporting activities.
What stood out most was how modest the hotel is about these efforts—you wouldn’t know about this incredible work unless you spoke to the manager. It’s definitely worth asking about if you visit.
There was absolutely no pressure to contribute, but like many schools, they are always in need of resources and equipment. If you are planning a stay, it may be worthwhile bringing along items such as stationery, toys, or other useful supplies. Monetary contributions are also welcomed, but entirely optional.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience,"
