"This was one of the best breakfasts that we had in all of Iceland, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the windows are old and we could hear the wind howling all night. None of us slept really well because of that. Also, on the website, it says you have laundry services, but you charge 5000 krona to do one load of laundry. Preparing someone's laundry and having laundry services on site is two totally different things."
"Unbelievable views and tranquil location. We had a family room with bunkbeds, as well as two other beds and it was so spacious. My favourite part of the guest house was the great room, somewhere you can relax watch TV and have breakfast. The owners are incredibly hospitable and very responsive to our queries. We highly recommend this guest house for travels in northern Iceland."

"I booked this place because of the breakfast only to find out after booking it that there was no breakfast in the winter. Check in is at the bar and the rooms are up stairs. The room was clean and small. I got a single. The water smells of sulfur. These things happen. There isn’t anything close by so I had dinner in Hvammstangi. "
