If you like strolling among the stalls, you might want to head out to Witches' Market in Downtown La Paz and take in the atmosphere. Splash some more cash at Mercado Lanza, Mercado Rodríguez, and Calle Comercio.
"Stayed in 501 (corner room) had a stunning panoramic view of La Paz mountains. Could watch the sunrise each day - amazing. Could also black out with curtains. Could control the thermostat - which was very helpful. The gym next door is fully equipped - you'll find all you need, but their hours are short: 9-3 weekdays and 9-1 weekends. You'll need a small lock to use the lockers and bring your own water/water bottle. Small grievances in the hotel room: Hot water took a while to come on and there wasn't an option for 'English' subtitles on TV. "
