"The room was clean but the design is a little off in the second bedroom bathroom. There is no separation between the shower and the toilet, so when you shower you inevitably wet the toilet paper… The staff were very accommodating - we had an early pick up to go to Ella, so they told us to go to restaurant 15 mins before their normal service hour to have breakfast. And they made our breaky very quickly so that we could be on time for our trip.
One thing to note, the Google map way to get to the hotel is not right, as there is a road closure due to the cyclone in 2025. It is also a very narrow road up to this hotel which is on top of a hill. Our driver from Colombo struggled to find the way to get here and the direction the hotel gave may not mean much to drivers outside of Kandy. He had to ask local motorist to get us there."
