"I truly loved the swimming pool. Housekeeping was great, front desk great. my interest or potential option i see to improve could be room service as it takes forever i.e. I ordered a dessert, 40 min for a call back that there out of apple pie an another hour to deliver chocolate cake! I would totally stay again."
"Every one was on point. The ladies at the front desk 5 star. All the butlers are great. Derrick is memorable his service and courtesy was magnificent. The breakfast is delicious and the service was top notch. I would go back to any of the properties they own. Nice experience walkable to restaurants and bars. "
"The rooms are really clean I ended up extending my stay and staying for a total of 4 days. They were very accommodating.
The location has facial recognition so you do not need to carry around extra keys. It is really safe in that area and taxis are always available.
There is laundry ( washer/dryer) and a full kitchen setup in the room, there are 6 pools, and it’s in a great location!
I had a blast "
"My experience at the hotel was mixed. Upon arrival, the receptionist’s lukewarm attitude and lack of enthusiasm did not create a welcoming first impression. The interaction felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and somewhat unprofessional. After informing her that I was checking in, she asked what time I had booked the hotel. I found the question unnecessary, especially since the reservation details were already available in the system. I had to search through my phone to retrieve the information, and when I finally did, her response came across with an attitude, as though I had done something wrong simply by arriving to check into a room that had already been reserved for the night. The overall process lacked warmth, urgency, and the hospitality one expects when arriving at a hotel.
That said, my checkout experience was much better. The receptionist during checkout was professional, welcoming, and had a beautiful smile that made the interaction refreshing and pleasant. The breakfast was also very good and enjoyable.
As for the property itself, the hotel feels noticeably dated. I was honestly surprised to see how much La Palm has aged over the years. It still carries the foundation of what was once a landmark hotel, but it would greatly benefit from serious renovations and modernization to restore the high standard and prestige it was known for when it first opened."
