Boutique Hotel Kon Tiki Tahiti
8/10 Good
"It is a nice hotel for one or two nights stay. It is literally across the street from the ferry. The breakfast was nice , just do not expect the variety, it was the same every day. The food was great, fresh and delicious. Fresh fruits and nice choice of hot drinks. I loved the cappuccino ! The front desk staff was great reserving us the restaurant last minute and the taxi.
The room was spacious, and clean. They however need to add a couple of hooks to the bathroom as we had no place for towels. The bathroom is also needs more lighting, it was a bit dark. They also didn’t provide any bottled water which would be nice for people who just arrived.
Hotel is centrally located, we walked to a nice park by the marina to see a sunset."
"The hotel is tired and could use a refresh. It’s very expensive for the level of ambiance. I did have a fabulous massage! Expensive, though, considering the spa has few amenities like a sauna."
"This is an excellent choice to stay while in Papeete if you plan on taking the ferry to Moorea since it’s right across the street. We landed late and only stayed one night. It’s close to cafes, the Pearl museum, and the waterfront. Minor issue was the bed felt sandy but it was large and comfortable and had great pillows."
