Comfort Inn Pinehurst - Southern Pines

"This is a very good place to stay in the Pinehurst area. It isn't luxurious, but it is clean, comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The shower is particularly nice. The basic wifi is good. Breakfast is okay. The sausage was polish sausage instead of breakfast sausage. The eggs had standing water, so they are powdered instead of fresh. They happened to be out of biscuits when I wanted one. They do have a waffle maker. Otherwise, they have a good selection of drinks, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, etc. So, not bad, but not as good as the best mid-priced hotels."

"The Carolina Pine Inn is a true hidden gem in the Aberdeen, North Carolina area. We typically stay closer to town, but wanted a change of pace this trip, and we’re glad we did. The peaceful setting and relaxed atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. We visit this part of North Carolina every month, and the Carolina Pine Inn has officially become our go-to hotel. The staff is fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making guests feel at home. The property is charming, well-maintained, and exceptionally quiet. If you’re traveling through the region and looking for a comfortable, low-key retreat away from the noise and crowds of typical hotels, we highly recommend the Carolina Pine Inn. It’s the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy a more peaceful stay."

"Adequate. Ideal location for what I do when in town. Low key, clean over all with only one roach and spider but it’s NC, they are common there in the summer. Breakfast wasn’t great but it is sustainable. Pancake machine and frozen breakfast burritos like in a gas station, muffins which were pretty good and I think they had cereal and Two juice options. Staff was nice. Beds were comfortable, clean towles/washclothes and nice hot shower."
