"Beautifu pools, fabulous beach (on high tide) excellent scube diving crew, food selection was the usual fare, atrium and pool areas well presented, great design, luxurious. Will stay again."

"Do not book the sunset vista only if you are after the view. Very poor room and unsafe for a family with a toddler."

"Breakfast service is good especially the servers. Food is standard - variety of egg preparation - omelet and hardboiled, then mix of corned beef, hotdogs/sausages bread with spreads (butter, fruit jams). coffee is available. Dining area is so crowed on the days i stayed because the guests who were attending conference, students on tour are mixed to the regular visitors/tourists that at some point, you cannot anymore find seats. Guests who are in group - students on tour, guests on corporate meetings/conferences should have a separate breakfast area. dining early becomes very noisy because of them."

"Large clean and cozy room. King size bed was comfortable which provided much needed sleep. The tub in the room was so relaxing with a fantastic view of nature. Hot water was steady in the bathroom. AC was respite from the outside humidity. The restaurant offered ample sized delicious home grown cooked meals. The staff from the reception, security, environmental services & cleaning crews to the restaurant were actively engaged to ensure you’re attended swiftly. Shout out to Jane!!! This is the place to watch the sunset. North Zen Villas is the sister resort of Oceanic; this resort is quiet and a short ride from the party scene of Alona Beach. Overall, this resort is a solace from a busy hectic life. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. "

"Hot showers and great food and staff. Alona beach was just over the beach walk and not really suitable to hang out on. Had to walk up towards the end for the sand. Just a 10 min tok tok ride to Dumaluan Beach where you can use the amenities and hang out on a gorgeous beach at the Oceanica. Highly recommend doing this. El at guest services was so helpful arranging a private driver to go see the chocolate hills, man made forest, Tarziers, bamboo bridge and the bee Farm resort. Would recommend this hotel if you want to stay in town. Short tok tok to main road for shops and restaurants. Mr and Mrs Thai was awesome:)"
