"Staff were friendly and apologetic when we shows them the stains left by bugs on the mattress.
They let me know there were going to take care of it and were pleasant.

"Construction in progress and should not have rented the room we were in. Very small kitchenette with no tools for use. Single queen bed with not much room to walk around! I would have fired the person who renovated the bathroom, holes drilled in wrong places for spout and shower head then puttied up. Poorly done for sure. Floor was. Dirty and no blow dryer or shampoos/conditioners. Asked the desk for a hair dryer and was told someone threw them out and they couldn’t replace them because of cost. Wow but because of college graduation in town it was impossible to find another place. Breakfast was ALL carbs with a coffee pot that couldn’t keep up! Would not choose this place again!"
"I stayed for a few days as I was moving out of an apartment in Grand Forks. I have stayed at a number of La Quinta hotels since they all tend to be pet friendly. This was one of the nicer ones. I was well maintained and comfortable. It is in a nice area with a couple of restaurants nearby. It is a short drive from the highway."
"Hello,
We stayed at your hotel this past weekend during graduation festivities, which I understand is a very busy time. It has been a couple of years since our last stay, and we noticed that the property is beginning to show its age and may be due for some updates.
We reserved three rooms for our family, and a few concerns came up during our stay:
• one of the rooms windows did not lock properly, which resulted in significant wind and road noise throughout the night.
• One of the rooms had not been fully cleaned prior to check-in; the bathroom, including the toilet and bathtub, was noticeably dirty.
• Overall, the rooms, carpeting, and bathrooms appeared worn and in need of refreshing.
• Parking was generally adequate, but many contractors were staying at the hotel with large trailers, which occupied multiple spaces. A designated area or larger parking accommodations for oversized vehicles would be helpful.
• The Saturday breakfast selection was limited, and several items appeared to be out of stock—likely due to the high number of guests for graduation weekend.
We appreciate the convenient location and have enjoyed staying here in the past. We hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to maintain and improve the property.
Thank you for your time."
