Castres Mazamet Hotels

We spent one month traveling all around France with excellent accommodations at nearly every stop but this place was the best. Wonderful setting, comfortable room, excellent breakfasts, a special dinner, and two gracious hosts. We highly recommend it.

We had a great stay. The staff were all quite helpful and very kind. Our room was beautiful and a perfect location, right near the center plaza in Castres. We felt so comfortable in the hotel we made full use of the amenities: afternoon drinks on the terrace, evening meal in the restaurant, and breakfast the next day. All excellent. I highly recommend the Grand Hotel.

Lovely small, modern hotel located close to the ancient city/castle near Carcassonne. Clean and quiet. Pool and hotel restaurant are very nice. Service was excellent. Helpful staff. Owner was present as well. Friendly and helpful. Nice restaurants within driving distance, but not walking district. Hotel located in what has become over the years a somewhat industrial area. Originally, it was in the countryside.

Arnaud and his wife were helpful with parking, recommendations of sites to see, served delicious breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The location couldn’t be better. Definitely a great choice for visiting Carcassonne.
