"Cleanliness- The hotel appeared to be clean however there was rust, limescale and dust throughout. The shower head and sink taps looked like they’ve not had a good clean since the place was built. Staff- Friendly enough, didn’t have much interaction with them. We arrived and there was no minibar in the room as advertised and we were initially asked if we would like to pay a supplementary "

"Positives. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen and bathrooms) and clean. There was parking available right outside and the check in instructions were clear and straightforward. There were ample heating and cooling options. Negatives There was no ability to access the balcony, which was advertised in the pictures and would have been a nice social space as there was no lounge area inside. The pillows were very uncomfortable and hindered a decent night's sleep. The lack of power points near the beds meant the bedside lamps didn't work and also not ideal for charging devices etc. The worst element for us was the building noise next door. While I appreciate this was not the fault of the Hostal, the apartment was uninhabitable from 8.30am for the majority of the day and some advanced notice (clearly the works had been going on a while) would have been appreciated as we could have made other plans."

"My son and I, had a wonderful stay at Casa Baliza. Every day you feel that warmth and great hospitality, from Bern and Nathalie! Everything was perfect. Nice room with good aircon, great bed, nice atmosphere, decorations and pool area. Quiet neighbourhood, beautiful nature nearby, and the best and healthiest breakfast, always served with a smile. "Gem of a place! Super friendly hosts, great rooms, fantastic location away from the noise and traffic of Ronda but close enough to drive to, cllse to C. Del Rey, etc etc. Found this by chance and will be permanently in my records to return to!!! Thanks Russ and Stacy!!!"
